Akim corre o ¿Cómo hablar y explicar la guerra a los más pequeños?
En muchas ocasiones los libros son los recursos ideales para los padres para poder explicar a nuestros hijos temas que pueden ser delicados y que no sabemos ni cómo empezar. El libro en este caso se convierte en la excusa perfecta para iniciar esa conversación.
La muerte, la enfermedad, o como es el caso de hoy, las guerras son temas que a ellos también les preocupan, a su manera y tienen dudas.
El libro que hoy os recomiendo, Akim corre habla de la guerra, de cómo escapar de la misma y de las vivencias; y es que aunque parezca mentira en el siglo en el que estamos las guerras están presentes en nuestro mundo.
A través de este libro, que ha sido premiado en el 2014 con el prestigioso premio Alemán de literatura infantil y juvenil, la artista belga Claude K. Dubois intenta hacer comprensibles a los niños las traumáticas vivencias de la guerra y de la huida de la misma, una realidad para muchas personas, tomando como ejemplo la suerte del pequeño Akim.
Como una catástrofe de la naturaleza, la guerra llega a la sencilla vida del chico, su aldea es bombardeada y Akim se queda en medio de un paisaje de desolación.
En la locura del bombardeo, perdió a su familia. Emprende entonces un viaje con peripecias diversas que termina en una columna de personas que huyen de la guerra y que llegan a un campamento de refugiados donde algo bueno le está esperando.
Un libro muy bonito, dentro de la dureza del tema que trata, pero creo que necesario contar a nuestros pequeños.
